Date night with Lincoln

Lincoln and I went to see a live theater production of the book, Goodnight Moon. It was so nice to spend the evening with Linc - just the two of us. He was so excited to go out on the town with his Mama. Brian slipped him a five dollar bill, and Linc kept it in his pocket and you could tell he felt so big.

When we arrived at the theater, he had to use the potty. It was pretty crowded and a lot of kids, but when we opened the stall door it was a kid potty. He was beyond excited and gave me a big hug and said, "I love you, Mama." He was that excited for a kid potty...the night only got better!

The play was extremely cute and appropriate for his age, and Linc brought his own copy of Goodnight Moon to compare notes. Many of the ushers complimented Linc on his dedication to the play.

Brian got to stay home with Declan. They spent a long time outside and then came inside and played with all of Linc's toys without getting yelled at :) Win win for everyone.

We are looking forward to more and more 1:1 time with each boy. They love each other very much, but it is also nice to get to know them apart from their sibling.
