Long Beach Island
We got in the car and traveled to Long Beach Island for a week. LBI is an island off of New Jersey, and it is was extremely family friendly. You can walk from the ocean to the bay in about 20 minutes but is 18 miles long of very pretty beaches. We stayed in the middle of the island in an area called Beach Haven. We were able to walk to restaurants and were a short drive from an amusement park and the main shopping arena. We went to the beach every day except one and some days we went twice. The boys were very timid of the beach the first couple of days, but they quickly warmed up and were jumping the "monster waves". I do not love the waves so I held down the fort. The last day the boys found a little tide pool and played in it like a pool and Linc even tried a little boy's boogey board. It was a lot of fun to be with Brian's side of the family. The boys reconnected with their Pop Pop, Uncle Matty, and Aunt Moe. They LOVED having them upstairs and often would sneak up to see them. Brian's Aunt Trish and Uncle Pat came to visit from Philly and his college best friend, Emily and her two boys met up with us as well. It was a memorable trip and we all survived the 12 hours each way in the car! We cannot wait for the next Brown Family Vacation!
A video of Linc spraying water at a pirate game...he played it A LOT :)
