Brian's mother visited us over Labor Day weekend, and boy did we keep her busy! We started the weekend off by a visit to the library and out to dinner on Saturday night. Sunday turned out to be a wet, wet morning so we hung around the house and saved our energy for an afternoon at our local science museum - COSI. We went to the zoo on Monday morning and then to the Upper Arlington Arts Festival on Monday afternoon. Whew - it flew by but it was full of memorable moments, hugs, and kisses for our GiGi.

Brian and I were also lucky enough to get out a couple of times over the weekend. GiGi babysat Lincoln while we enjoyed birthday massages from GiGi (so relaxing and much needed!!!), and Brian and I went on a date night for dinner and the grocery store. As I said, the weekend flew by but we have a lot of good memories of the visit before Baby Bean comes and Lincoln soaked in the extra attention and love!
Picture below is of Lincoln's new favorite game - sweeping. I can barely get the floor swept after meals before he is begging for the broom and then proceeds to sweep the entire downstairs and laughing the entire time. By the way - his shirt in the picture is Brian's from when he was younger. It is a Philly soft pretzel (don't mind the huge wet spot on his front - he just chugged out of my water bottle :).
