49 Weeks

We spent Lincoln's 49th week birthday in Columbus over the Memorial Day weekend.  Lincoln had a lot of fun exploring Daddy's current digs (he is staying with a friend until we move into our rental home) and trying not to break all of the really cool glass sculptures, huge tv, and various fancy items. Thankfully we all succeeded and we left the house just as we left it.  Auntie Sissy and Uncle Shaun came over for Sunday brunch and we spent a lot of time playing outside.  Lincoln warmed up to the grass a little bit more and we found a great playground that had a shady spot perfect for babies and soon-to-be-toddlers.

Silly boy kept kissing himself in the mirror :)

There was some fussing on the trip from Linc.  He was wonderful on the plane - did not sleep - but entertained all of those around him and played with his toys quietly.  Once we landed in Ohio, we took him to Children's Hospital Urgent Care because he was just not feeling well.  They flushed his ears and found that he had an ear infection so two hours later he had an antibiotic.  There were definitely times that we could tell he did not feel well, but he held it together to visit with family and slept really well despite he was in a strange place in his pack and play.  A couple more weeks of daycare and then I putting my baby boy in a bubble until I go back to work in a year or so!
