It has been a while since I last posted - the end of school is quickly catching up to me! The boys are finishing out their last round of soccer for the season. The lessons take a break for summer and will start back up in the fall. Declan will more than likely move up to the 3-year-old class although he will only be two. He is super independent and confident. Linc still struggles with separation from Daddy during the lessons and handling his emotions when he is upset. He may stay in the three-year-old class although he will be four, and this will allow the boys to take a class together and us to only have one class to sit through instead of almost two hours!
The below video is not our normal coach...it is a sub. Linc walked right up to him and asked, "Where is Coach Mike?" I was so proud that he was confident enough to speak to a stranger.
The next video is with Coach Mike. He invited Declan to play in Linc's class. Declan was clearly the slowest of the kiddos (being only 2.5 and the other kiddos are 3 and 4) so Coach Mike gave Declan a little head start....Little Brother Chase is what he called it.
Then, my favorite video. Each time Coach Mike blew his whistle, the kiddos turned the other way. Check out what a GREAT listener our boys are - especially our little bean.
