Lincoln's First Soccer Class

Lincoln LOVED his first soccer class.  Ok, that is understatement...there needs to be a stronger word than love.  He did so well, smiled the entire time, and had his listening ears on for Coach Mike.  Sarah and Shaun came over to watch Declan so I could go this time, but this will be a special time for Daddy and Lincoln on Saturday mornings.

The run down on the class:

9:30am - The kids ran around like crazy kicking balls.  Linc was really excited to actually kick the ball into a real net, and Coach Mike noticed his skillz :)

9:32am - The children gathered for a hello greeting and attendance.  Lincoln sat right down and listened attentively for his name.  I helped him say he was there, and Linc smiled.

9:35am - The children ran around like crazy and kicked the balls.

9:40am - We all sat around Coach Mike and warmed up our muscles.  I was so impressed that Lincoln followed along and did the warm-ups exactly as the coach said.  It was a very serious and important time.

9:43am - The children were given balloons to try to kick and bounce off their heads.  Linc preferred kicking the ball and running around like crazy.

9:50am - The children played a listening game where they ran across the field and then did something on the other side - lay down, sit down, be silly.  Lincoln loved this and showed off his excellent listening skills.

9:55am - They played sharks and minnows; the children kicked the ball and if the ball hit their parent then the parent had to lay on the ground and the child jumped over the parent.  Vice versa, we kicked and hit Lincoln and then had to jump over Linc.

10am - Class over.  It was hard to say goodbye to Locker Soccer, but have no fear because we will be back next week!  Success!
