He has said "baby" a couple of times to refer to Declan, and we tend to use the word baby more than Declan's name. He also gestures and brings us to the baby if he hears him crying and likes to direct me as to where to put the baby throughout the day. While Lincoln sleeps, I have one-on-one time with Declan, and it is great for his tummy time, mommy snuggles, and quiet moments with just the two of us. The second child does not get as many quiet moments, but he is even luckier to have his world full of his brother's love (and ours!).

Big Brother Linc
I cannot write enough about how much Lincoln is embracing his little brother. He may still not completely understand that Declan is here to stay and that he will grow up to be even more fun, but Lincoln is really beginning to warm up to him and interact with him in a very positive way.
Linc loves when Declan is in his swing or rock and play. He will bring him toys and push him (with my help - Linc is stronger than he knows!). He also brings Declan toys, "helps" put his paci back in, and just this morning started giving the most gentle kisses on Declan's feet and legs. An adult still has to be present during these sweet moments because Lincoln can quickly go for the eyes or give a harder love tap, but it is so fun to see Linc warm up and really care about his baby.
