Lincoln turned 15 months old on September 15th. He is still so sweet, funny, and personable. Lincoln is learning more and more every day and is a typical toddler with some tantrums thrown in just to remind us that he has his own little brain too :)
To celebrate Linc's 15 months, here are 15 fun facts about Lincoln...
1. Lincoln loves to zoom zoom his cars. He makes a zoom zoom noise and zooms them down ramps, across the floor, and even up and down our bodies and his.
2. Lincoln is starting to understand hide and seek and loves finding his Daddy hiding!
3. Lincoln is very affectionate and will give kisses to us and family members. His kisses are open mouth and sometimes involve teeth, but we will take them anyway!
4. Lincoln is an excellent eater and has recently enjoyed chicken legs, chicken sausage, BBQ sauce, and chip dip. He is like his mother and enjoys most sauces!
5. Lincoln loves to take walks outside. He can often be found pushing his truck up and down the sidewalk and looking for cats.
6. Lincoln imitates what he sees...he will sweep the floors, rake the leaves, and stir in his cups.
7. Lincoln loves to swing although judging by his face you would never know it. He is very stoic but once we try to take him out he gets very upset.
8. Lincoln is a class clown. He makes jokes, does funny antics and faces, and will do most anything for a laugh.
9. Lincoln spent his last night with his paci this week, and he is now sleeping (for the most part!) with no paci.
10. Lincoln is in the 90% for height and the 50% for weight. Long and lean...not sure where he got the long?
11. Lincoln can use multiple signs to communicate. The tough part is figuring out which sign means what since some of his signs have turned into the same motion. He uses "more" and help" as the same sign; "cat" and "eat" also look the same. It can be tricky to differentiate his meaning, but using context we can usually figure it out. He now uses signs for the following words: more, help, cat, eat, milk, all done, and light.
12. Lincoln loves music. He will dance and smile when he hears music in stores, in the car, and at home. His whole faces lights up.
13. Lincoln loves to wrestle, and he will lay down on the floor just inviting kisses, wrestles, and hugs.
14. Lincoln does not love the YMCA day care just yet, but we are going to stick with it to help him with separation anxiety and to socialize with kiddos his own age.
15. Lincoln likes to be busy. If he is fussy it is because we have spent too much time at home. He will go to the window and point to outside, bring us his shoes, or generally just whine until we do something fun!
Life is an adventure with Lincoln, and we are thrilled that we are going on this wild ride with him! We love you, Lincoln Alan Brown!
