30 Weeks!

Lincoln is 30 weeks old today.  He is just as smiley, talkative, and hungry as always!

Here I was at 30 weeks pregnant! :)
Likes?  Eating solid food, playing with his Momma and Daddy, and laughing!  He is so happy, and he truly loves being around people.  Ms. Norma said they have been having the best time with him this week - he plays, rolls all around to get what he wants, and sits to play with toys.  Speaking of...

Ironic because he is wearing his sticker but completely "lounging" on the couch :)
Truth be told, he has been sitting for a while in his highchair, bouncer, on the floor with a pillow, etc.  He has been sitting completely unassisted for a week, but I forgot to take a picture with the sticker.  He still falls over when he is tired but is getting more graceful at rolling over first and then putting his head down.  He LOVES playing with his toys even more now that he can sit up and have a new perspective.

Lincoln is also practicing eating on his own.  He is perfecting his pincher grasp needed to pick up small items.  He practices using Gerber "puffs".  At lunch this afternoon, Lincoln actually picked one up and landed it in his mouth!  You would have thought he completed a marathon the way that Brian and I were clapping our hands and cheering!  While he does not get the puff into his mouth every time, it does lead to some funny moments.

We also laugh because when we feed Lincoln with a spoon, he puts his hands up like a football field goal.  His little fists are clenched and he grunts if we are too slow with the food.  Brian was doing his imitation alongside Lincoln tonight at dinner :)

Day care notes...

Wednesday:  Well Lincoln is a different baby since we saw him last!  I (Norma) put him in the high chair for breakfast and he was so animated, laughing, vocalizing and kicking his feet.  It was adorable!  He does love to eat.  We are having trouble feeding him his bottle an hour ahead of meals.  He wants the food!  But we tried after breakfast and he did drink 4ozs. of milk.  We will get a better schedule tomorrow.  Lincoln readily turned over when we put him on his tummy.  We just kept watching him roll around because it was so much fun!

Thursday:  I'm (Yesenia) so happy that I was finally able to play with Lincoln!  Babysitting Lincoln was a tease because I didn't get to play with him then.  He was moving so much during tummy time today!  Lincoln can roll over so quickly.  I can already imagine how he'll be when he's walking all over the house.  We will all have to keep our eyes on him!

Friday:  On my goodness!  Baby Lincoln had a ball playing in the big playroom with Atticus and Sebas!  He was just the happiest playing on the floor with his friends.  He was rolling all around and he was talking so loudly.  He giggled so much playing with Yasmin.  He finds Yasmin's hand to be super silly when she wiggles it all around.  What a fun little boy!
