How old? 5 weeks old
Likes? Nursing (a lot!), snuggles with anyone!, his pacifier, funny faces and baby talk
Dislikes? Sleeping in the morning, car rides in stopped traffic
Changes observed: Lincoln is smiling a lot more and is smiling more in response to people and not just gas. He is also alert more during the day and not fussing during diaper changes, clothes changes, or baths as much. He also is sleeping a four hour chunk of time at night which feels like "sleeping through the night" since this is the most I have slept in months! He remains a super chill and sweet boy.
To celebrate Lincoln's five week birthday, Auntie Sarah visited! Brian was a groomsman in a good friend's wedding and was out of town all weekend. Auntie Sarah came to the rescue to keep us company and help Mommy out. Lincoln LOVED his auntie. He wanted to look at her wherever she was and would often turn his whole body to see her. The weather was so hot so we spent a lot of time snuggling on the couch, and Lincoln realized how much he loved Lifetime movies! He also impressed Auntie Sarah with his good table manners for a lunch out, and he looked for deals at the Armitage sidewalk sale. It was a great visit, and it was very hard to say good-bye to Auntie Sarah on Sunday! In fact, Lincoln was so sad to drop Sarah off at the airport that he cried all the way home! :(
