We are back!

Summer days are calling, and we have been celebrating with some quality zoo time.  As always, the zoo hasn't disappointed.  It is fun to watch them another year older and how each boy has changed in their zoo routines.

Linc is way more adventurous.  He talks to the zoo keepers, interacts with the animals, and just loves walking the zoo.  He knows how to get to every animal and still loves the train although it has not been on this season.

Below he is petting/brushing the goats.  Last summer he would enter the petting zoo and then hide behind us.

Declan will ride in his stroller when we first walk in, but then he wants out to explore.  Linc was like this last summer.  Linc would wander all around the zoo and we would follow him.  Unfortunately for Declan, he will wander but then has to keep up with his big brother and stay focused on the path.  Brian and I sometimes split up to give Declan some of that freedom and decision making that he deserves at 18 months!

One of my favorite photos.  The truth behind this photo is that Lincoln really wanted to hold Declan's hand but Declan wanted nothing to do with that.  This is Linc trying to tell Declan to hold his hand :)

Declan kept taking his summer hat off.  We are huge proponents of wearing hats for sun safety sake so I put on a winter hat with a strap so he cannot remove it.  Smart Momma move!!
