We enjoyed some fall family fun this weekend with Grandpa Mike! We headed out to a local pumpkin patch, and the kiddos picked a pumpkin, played in the kids' area, and enjoyed some fresh air. This was the first year that Lincoln really seemed to understand the idea of picking a pumpkin, and he had a lot of fun looking for the perfect gourd. Declan was happy as usual, and he really loved playing (and eating) in the corn pit.
It so happened that this was the site of a student's birthday party so my entire class of girls was also in attendance. They had a lot of fun seeing me be a mommy and meeting my kiddos. It was nice to chat with the mothers a little bit too and see what our Saturdays will look like in two years as birthday parties take over our social plans :)
Lincoln's favorite part was probably the hayride. He loved the tractor, riding in the wagon, and throwing hay (at least he is cute when he does things like that!).
Having fun with Grandpa Mike -
Taking it all in (channeling his great-great-grandma Wright)
