Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree...
The boys had an amazing first Christmas in Ohio! We were so lucky to be able to celebrate with my grandfather, aunt and uncle, and my immediate family on Sunday morning in Chillicothe; have a Christmas eve party here with my immediate family; and wake up with Gaga and Grandpa on Christmas morning to a house full of toys! Santa Claus certainly recognized that Lincoln and Declan were good little boys and showered them with presents and most importantly love and attention. We know the drive from Florida is not easy, but we are so thankful that Gaga and Grandpa were able to be here with the kids for the holiday.
Enjoy the many pictures!
Extended Family in Chillicothe - Great Grandpa Botkin in the middle (95 years young in February)!
Family Christmas Eve tradition (a night early) - appetizers and presents. So much fun to be close to family and one stop shopping for Mom and Dad. Add in a very excited Lincoln opening presents -could not be more fun!

Lincoln was spoiled with presents from his family - a dump truck, stuffed animals, a piano, singing books, a wagon, a big wheel (for a little later!), clothes, and a puzzle. Declan got a giggle guy, clothes, and a singing book. I am sure I am forgetting things as well - their family sure did go all out for the boys - thank you!

Grandpa got Lincoln the coolest truck!
|
We didn't forget about Declan - he was showered with attention, snuggles, and love. Such a sweetie!
The real Christmas eve was spent eating treats and getting ready for Santa in the morning (including putting together 30 cardboard blocks for under the tree!).

Christmas Morning...

Coming down the stairs and seeing all the presents in front of the tree! Such magic :)

We really missed our family in Philadelphia, and we were so sad that the travel plans did not work out. We were able to Facetime with Gigi on Christmas morning and show her and Aunt Moe some of Lincoln's new toys. We are excited to see them in "real life" sometime soon and show off how big the boys are!
