12 Weeks!

Lincoln turned 12 weeks old on September 7th.  We celebrated by going to Gaslight for the OSU game (see post below) and going to a BBQ at a co-worker's house.  It was a fun day, and Lincoln showed off his smiles and coos.

Likes?  Ceiling fans (still), his playmat, his rings and his hands

Dislikes?  Riding in the car, when we are not playing/watching him while he is awake

Lincoln is beginning to assert his little personality.  He loves attention and is beginning to "tell" us when he is bored, wants moved or wants us to hold him a different way.  His little yaps quickly make us respond, and he is learning how to get his way already!

Lincoln has also discovered his hands.  They are always in his mouth and he is finding his thumb more and more often.  He has also learned how to put a ring in his mouth although he is not always consistent with finding his mouth (and sometimes he forgets to bend his elbow and it is hard to get something to your mouth without bending your arm - try it! :)

We can't wait to celebrate Lincoln's three month birthday next weekend in Kansas City at a good friend's wedding!
