11 Weeks

The weeks are flying by, and I am beginning to forget how old Lincoln is!  After counting on the calendar, we realized Lincoln turned a whole eleven weeks old on Labor Day Saturday which happened to be the opening weekend for college football!  This was his first football celebration (along with other vacation firsts listed in the blog post below), and he cheered on the Buckeyes with charisma and smiles.  He was happy to hear that they won :)

Likes:  Ceiling fans, attention from everyone in the room (or car), and being in water

Dislikes:  His car seat and long car rides alone in the backseat (oh no to us driving to Kansas City next week - wish us luck!) and napping in his crib (still working on that one)

Observations:  Lincoln actually travelled very well.  He was patient and respectful on the plane ride and easily adjusted to sleeping in a pack and play at night at my parents.  He continues to fight naps on his own, but hopefully we will help him through that with some sleep training soon.  Lincoln charmed the pants off many waitresses during vacation with his smiles and had his family members wrapped around his little finger.  I flew back with him by myself, and Linc did awesome!  We even got compliments when we left the plane about how quiet and calm he was - I was so proud :)  All in all, we have a very happy little boy who knows when to flash the smile (especially when there is a ceiling fan around - he loved those!).

Go Bucks!
This is the face we make when the other team scores :)
Half-time snooze

That boy is really something. He is welcome in Florida anytime. Can't wait until he's older and I can take him to the dog track.

You will have to teach him how to pick the perfect trifecta - will be a great math lesson :)
